Hello to all,

            As your Messenger is being delivered your Divan and Representatives are attending the Imperial Shrine Session in St. Louis, Missouri.  While attending we will hear many resolutions and discussions in reference to our Fraternity and our Shriner’s Children Hospitals.  Upon our return your Representatives will provide a briefing at the July “Stated Meeting” as to what was discussed, motions that were passed, and information on our Shriner’s Children Hospitals.
Independence Day is a memorable day for us all to remember due to the sacrifices by many before us.  Fireworks, parades, and family gatherings will be at their peak.  I ask that we all take a moment to remember those who made those sacrifices in order that we may be a free Nation.  Show your true American colors the Red, White, and Blue on July 4th in displaying your love for the Good Ole USA.
Remember that July 16th is our quarterly “Stated Meeting”.  Mark your calendars to remind you to attend.  It would be wonderful to double the attendance of the June 4th regular meeting.  As a suggestion due to our economy and the rising gas prices – share a ride with a fellow Noble or two, and call that Noble whom you know has been away for a while inviting him to come join his fellow Nobles.  We are each an Ambassador for Al Sihah & Shrinedom.  There was a reason why we joined and that reason still lies within each of us.  Just maybe for some that reason needs to be rekindled by being invited to attend a Temple, Club / Unit or any upcoming activities at the Temples.  Let’s ask, and maybe that Noble will return the kindness.
Please remember our Service Men and Women, our Shrine Children, and those special ones who care for the children.  In addition, let us not forget while on our bended knees to pray for the sick and those families who have lost a love one.
